'The space between conjures questions of locating, where or what is it?
Somewhere in a separation the betweenness wishes to be noticed, a point or state to suggest or identify?
A position of time for the unnoticed given ownership by the jewel'.

34 selected members of the international art jewellery group Precious Collective have been chosen to exhibit their response to the theme 'The Space Between'.
This will be a month-long curated show in London that sees a major and significant grouping of works from the collective. The works challenge through concept, material thinking, jewellery tropes and making languages, thus galvanising the aim to spotlight art jewellery as an agency to story tell.
Hosted by the Magan Gallery, London the show is curated by Giedymin Jablonski and Lynne Speake.
Private view:
2nd of November from 6.30 to 9pm with special guest Adrian Lee who will be performing new work involving experimental musical composition with found objects.
Composer and guitarist Adrian Lee is one of the leading music creatives in contemporary UK theatre. Adrian’s output comprises over 60 scores for theatre, TV, radio, film, dance and music theatre. He has worked extensively with theatre companies including the Royal National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company and Young Vic Theatre. TV scores include music for documentaries broadcast by BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.

The exhibition includes works by core committee members and celebrates that nearly a third of the show involves new members who were drawn to join Precious because of this opportunity. Many of the selected 68 jewels were made directly for the exhibition and have never been seen before now.
